Rav335uk - Negative

Went to buy some bits for my m50 conversion. messed around for 6 weeks, everytime i chased it up i got the same "its a case of taking it off the car" and "i will have it done by this wednesday" - you get the general idea.

Gave up eventually after i saw no progress or even attempt at him trying to get/find the items. He never contacted me letting me know anything unless i chased it up, when as previously said, i would get the same answers.

Cook, I can only appologies as I have done in my Pm's to you.
If you still need it, take it of the car, for nothing.
The reason you feel messed about is the same reason for me, relying on someone else.
I needed to move the car on to my drive and have been promised too many times b4, by so called mates.

Then why not say that instead of saying to me that you will have it by a certain date, then saying that i will have the answer by the next day - with no reply both times?

Thankyou for the offer but i have bought both parts off another zoner for a hell of a lot cheaper than it would cost me for the journey!

I was having the same answer of the guy who was helping me move the car, as stated above.
I got let down, and it rippled down to you.

I under stand that - the point im getting at is that you said that you would "sort it out by next wednesday" and that you will give me an answer the next day, but you dont actually give me a reply, it really comes across that you really can't be assed to get the parts for me but dont want to tell me that.

I really would of expected a reply when you say:

I understand where you're comming from Cook, there isn't anything else i can say.
But I was supposed to have moved that car ages ago and wouldn't have given you that reply if I didn't mean it.
Neg feedback is neg feedback, but this was totally unintentional on my behalf.

No I didn't hand any cash over, That isn't the point in this thread, if he scammed out of money I would of said so! I felt messed around alot... Which is what the feedback is about -right?

messed about rather than scammed but ive been guilty of that myself in reverse , saying i wanted something but kept forgetting to go pick it up, was only a tenner part as well but the principle is the same....being to busy and having the memory of a goldfish doesnt help.

I don't know either of you, but I don't think this is a fair negative feedback thread. Nobody is out of pocket.

Christ, If I left negative feedback for everybody who has said, "I'll have that off you, fella." and then disappeared...............................

I thought it was about recieving goods which were not as described , broken or no good at all.

I can understand why Cook is pissed off but no-one is out of pocket here?

A deal that never happened is quite different from taking someones money and not providing the goods, which is what neg feedbcks are normally about.

I think the fact cook feels messed about but looks like rav has as well , Dont see the point of a negative thread though as no deal has taken place only wanting parts .
As mentioned above , The amount of people who have had people say "ill have that" then disapear on here is unreal .
Put it down to experience as no money has changed hands and rav has also offered all parts you wanted for free so there are no hard feeling .

This is not worthy of neg feedback, you havent been ripped off and Rav has offered you the goods for free. Seems a shame to tarnish his otherwise good reputation.

It is hardly tarnishing his feedback. Most people can read this thread so they can see what has gone on and make their own mind up. It is not THAT bad, but not ideal at the same time. If I was to buy a part from Rav now, i'd probably ask if it was ready to go. I doubt Rav would mind this.

I doubt there were any bad intentions.

I wouldn't have a problem with that at all.

I have been messed about by my "mates".
Last time i ask them for a favour.
All parts i have in the for sale section are ready to go, no problem.

I think people who read this will make up there own mind up.
I do have positive feedback too, but it;s just a start.

I am patient, i have had a M tec1 kit sitting around for nearly 7 mths waiting for a a guy from the zone(America) trying to sort out his shipping costs.
So try that.
I haven't offered it to anyone else till he says he don't or can't afford to have it shipped.
