Did my first Snetteton track day this afternoon, only a 20 minute session but enough to check the car after the changes I have made.
I have fitted Toyo T1Rs and they were brilliant. They just dont seem to let go, once the car starts to slide it was really easy to recover. Looking at them after I came back to the pits you could see I'd been a bit too brutal with them as they were a bit ragged.
E36 rack seemed to work well even if not as fast as the Z3.
LSD gives so much extra control in corners. I was ahead of another iS in Riches and as I accelerated out I saw him spin in my mirrors. Not a Zoner but I told him about us - hello Wayne if you are reading this.
I saw an E30 touring but not in my session, also saw a 2CV being flogged round.

Sounds like you had fun. How come it was only a 20 minute session? How much was that?
You want to try full slicks or even semi slicks. Then you'll realise how 'poor' t1rs are.

£25 for the session. I wanted to try the car at the limit before booking a full day. Brakes and suspension are new, so were the tyres and the rack has been swapped.
All held together well so I will book longer next time.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it, I love the place, just need more power for the straights!
