Central Locking!

My cental locking doesnt work! i know that the car has it as the fuel filler cap has the prong which activates when the car is locked! can anyone please list what the problems could be and how to solve them!!

Check to see if the locking control unit is getting 12V+ power (red/black wire). For some reason this red/black feed wire goes into the drivers door through a pin in the door plug and socket, then back out again through another pin. These pins are prone to corrosion, and has been the cause of total locking failure on most of the ones I've sorted out.
If you find the supply is missing, cut both red/black wires off of the door pillar socket and join them together. The supply isn't used for anything inside the door.

when i bought my touring the central locking never worked, then i found out why it never had any motors in the doors at all and the module was missing,
