What was the story there? I heard him go 'are you sure that's an iron block?' or something similar and my 'tw@t radar' made me walk off somewhere else. His e36 moredoor was pretty grim too.

Howard, nice sport by the way fella, don't think I chatted to you about it much on the day - I spotted the wilwoods and the drop, but what's the full spec?

It's fairly stock tbh, everything done's things that can be bolted back on and in the garage! lowered by 40mm ( i think ) wms on the front, bbtb, 6 branch and a z3 shifter ! along with a scorpion dtm which will be getting swapped to something more my own taste eventually.
I think all he cars look well, cameras obviously like the e30's

He said something like the engine had got to be an M52 alloy block as the oil filler was at the front of the cam cover
Also asked if I was sure it hadnt had paintwork and some other nit picking things, I just think he didnt believe what I was telling him for some reason and when he looked closer he was trying to prove me wrong which just made him look silly

Yeah i did mate, ended up puting a tiny blob of paste on them, did you come up with a better solution?

What paste is that? I pulled the split pins back, prised them open the pushed them back in to grip the pads properly. Its not a very good way as the pad will probably wear into a wedge shape now but it stops the horrendous rattle at least.
Apart from the flexi line fittings which were promptly sorted by Keri its the only problem ive had
