My daily driver is a 51 VW Caddy cube van. Its a great little beast.

Mrs has a E36 compact. She wants rid of it for a X5. Why I dont know, there not my cup of tea.

In the process of getting put back on the road. My Sport. 16v MK2 Golf big bumper. Possibly getting back on the road a 16v Golf MK2 small bumper.

Nice and Clean 316 for my main everyday car

Me and my girl friend went halfs on this for the summer, I know it's a girls car but the handling is amazing and it's great fun with the roof down. I'm not sure what else could be cooler than pop-up headlights :D

I'm sensing a theme here. Here's my "Mrs's" Saab 93 Aero HOT, which was bought for various reasons. It's very fast and comfortable and we love it. I couldn't care less if it's FWD and based on a Vectra platform either..

Got a few motors kicking around in the barn back in Kernow. Not all of them 'on the road' so to speak. I can drive some but not all unfortunately!

2000 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage
1989 Maserati 420 biturbo
1986 Tech 1 Sport (rotten through - stripped)
1959 Jensen 541R (resto job)
2009? AC Cobra Replica Kit car (10 years in the making and still not finished)
Series 2A Landrover x2 (One with blown engine, other been rolled badly)
1983 Ford Capri mark 2 (stacked into railing - now stripped)

2007 Audi A6 Diesal (Old Man's company car)
2001 punto (sisters car now but was my old runabout)
2002 Focus (mums motor)

Brothers currently got:

My old 88 mark 2 golf gti 8v
86 mark 2 Ford Capri Laser

And of course my two e30's

1987 Tech 1 sport ("slight" rust issues - my daily driver)
1988 Tech 1 cab
Tech 1.. Old School Cool

This looks ripe for molesting Dameon!

Here is my daily battleship/tank/van/bus
This is the original sales picture as I cant be arsed to take my own, I converted it to LPG and fitted some normal wheels amongst other bits and bobs. Done over 25k in it now and the only thing its let me down on is the steering lock

Dan I hadn't realised you were a 5 series touring deviant. I thought you had a saloon. Multipoint LPG?

Only plebs drive saloons, at least a touring is useful :)
Multipoint LPG indeed, its an old tartarini system but it owes me less than £50 and returns 15mpg town and 20+ mway which isnt bad for nearly 2 tonne through an auto box

Ive often thought about a V8 conversion but I dont really want to spend on the car if I can help it as its just a workhorse at the end of the day

Thinking of changing it for something more German and old skool. Golf mk1 or 2 or maybe another E30.

I wouldn't bother, your e30 will be just as fast and handle significantly better. If you could eek the motorway LPG up to 25 with it being so cheap 'ooop norf' you're onto a winner.

E30 would pi55 over any 540!
Id need to change to a more modern gas system to improve the MPG, I dont do as many motorway miles nowadays so im not that arsed really. Either way, I dont think id ever spend proper money on a gas system, id rather put it towards having the biggest gas capacity possible!

I have a really grotty Saab 9-3 airflow coupe that I use for going to work and back going to the tip and moving the dogs or anything else messy around.

The Mrs has a 2.2 vectra diesel which I thrash the pants off when ever she's not looking.

I've got a '98 Fiesta 1.3 3-door for when the E30's off the road. I actually bought it last October when the E30's engine ran-up the white flag and I'll be using it again next month when the E30 goes in to have its bodywork issues addressed.

Wor Lass has an '09 Fiesta 1.25 5-door which is a company car. It's that horrible metallic green - Squeeze, I think Ford call it. :puke:
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

I've got a rather boring Astra SRI Estate on a 57' plate for my company car/family wagon and the 320i and the wife recently bought an 09' Focus Zetec S. We saw an ad for the Focus last night with people playing instruments that were made out of bits of the car and the one in the final shot is specced up exactly the same as her's - 'Vision' blue, sports kit, tints and 18's. It's only a 1.8 but she says she keeps getting barry boys up her backside and trying to race her off the lights 'cos it looks a bit like an ST (to the VERY untrained eye!)

My Daily/Toy:

205 XS (plus a few extra goodies courtesy of the previous owner :))

Ridiculously fun, the absolute Ideal first car for a car enthusiast, although sadly I'm a long time sufferer of Car related ADHD and am in the process of finding a replacement which won't be nearly as quick or as fun around the Caterham B Roads (A E30 316i Touring or a E36 316i Compact looks likely )

Upon realizing I had DOC cover on my insurance policy, the keys to this family wagon and I were inseparable. Unfortunately the poor repair on the top hose gave way, coolant leaked and, she shot up into the red (briefly may I add), but it was enough. Constantly overheats now :(. An Audi A4 of the same vintage has replaced it as family barge, the the 530i is currently Waiting for me to bother to put it on Ebay as spares or repairs
