The power steering Goblin has developed a taste for ATF - I'm afraid you're going to have to put him down mate
Once they have got a taste for it it's no use.
EPC do replacement Goblins though - just check weather yours needs a Hobgoblin (like the Sports and M3's) or just the standard Goblin.

may well be you do have a leak but it could be dripping onto the under tray when parked and only spilling off the tray when the car is on the move???
Just a thought.
Either that or that Goblin is defo on a p1ss take!!!

If the bearings have gone in the powersteering pump it could be burning it.....BUT that would only account for a timy amout and you'd definetly know about it cos the pump would be fcuked

Must be that fcukin' goblin then...
Right the plan is :
1. Drain car of power steering fluid
2. Leave a trail of fluid from the car to somewhere you can hide (one drip every couple of feet should suffice)
3. When the goblin gets to the last drip twat the little fcuker with a can of sprite (or any other soft drink - but I think sprite would work best in this case)
4. Re-fill car with power steering fluid and send dazed goblin on his way with the explicit instruction to only sup from small French cars or anything Japanese.
5. Problem solved.

I might have the solution to that problem.
When i should have done a Danish MOT, the guy turned the front wheels and suddently lot's of PAS oil(ATF) went down on the floor, because the rubber thing burst.
It was leaking out in the baffled rubber thing(don't know was the right word for this is).
Try to squeeze on each side to feel any liquid inside.
Hope that you understand what i mean, my english is not so good when it comes to technical terms.

:yeahthat:
The gaitor.
If its leaking into there then the rack has blown a seal, so it's time for a new rack
Still liked the idea of the goblin though

Have you tried squeezing the gaiters? there should be no fluid in them. My old rack blew the gaiter clean off, spraying fluid all over the road outside my neighbours house!
If you do have fluid in the gaiters then the rack is knackered. apperently you can buy reconditioning kits for the rack, but i have no experience of these.
Try jonb if you need a new rack, as he is breaking a 325i touring at the mo...
