Is that actually a genuine alpina? Sorry the mass amount of alpina logos on that clouds my judgment

Agreed. WTF are there so many Alipina scripts. the headlights are hideous and the cheap halfrauds "E21" script is just as bad.

Kick the guy in the b0llocks, tell him to get real and return the care to as stock as he can bar the webers etc.

This car always turns up at Gaydon, first thing he does is get his floor mirrors out so you can see the underneath of the car.
Seen it up close, and tbh, if all that 5hit was of the car, it would look decent.

Can't wait to start on mine winkeye

yes it's a Genuine C1 e21 (the only right hand drive one known in the uk ?)
I know the owner and this car up to date owes him probably more than a good M3 would cost to buy

as you can tell by some of the add on stuff he is a youngster :o:

but a true enthusiast and a really great guy :D

It's clear the Zone is divided in it's feeling towards this car.

I can appreciate this for a few reasons; the car itself is VERY rare and truly a classic that deserves to still be around, the car is actually used on the road...it doesn't stay in some guy's climate controlled garage never to be seen by human eyes, and thirdly as e30topless has pointed out the guy really IS an enthusiast AND a really nice guy!

So the car is not to everyone's taste (I personally am one for originality and keeping things standard...barring perhaps a couple of subtle mods) but I'd say the dedication to that car embodies everything about classic ownership that I though I'd find on here.

For that I can appreciate it  (that and the 210bhp it produces at the wheels!)

I like it, Ive always liked the E21's. But I would change a few bits if it was mine. Less is more! Exterior, I love the Alpina stripes but not a fan of the Alpina badges where the BMW ones should be or the head lights and under the bonnet theres a few to many badges and shiney covers. But its still a sweet ride

the car has had alot of £££££££££ spentyes but the guy always covers the vin , number plate etc b ut forgets to cover road tax. so if you a vehicle check it actually comes up as a W reg 320

but it is a nice car (except badges & stickers but hey each to there own)

I do love E21's I can see its a nice car and well looked after and if he is young I can forgive him and he may grow out of it and slowly remove all the shiny bits under the bonnet.

However are those led washer jets

There is more than one RHD E21 C1 2.3 in the UK.

I to have seen this a Gaydon.

I always thought is was a replica TBH.

Hi I know the guy that owns this car.

I doubt if there is one orginal part on it as it left the factory.

It's belived there were about 14 rhd c1's buit in the UK and one factory buit one, I have see 4 for sale all claiming to be the factory car, and I nearly bought one which had a letter to prove it was built in the factory.

I think this is no. 15

Not 100% my cup of tea but wow- it's furkin clean as it gets! I can't imagine many of the cars on here are worthy of mirrors to show their underside! Unless you wanted a to see the interior from a different angle!

Pretty cool car. Engine and bay looks nice, but as above, calm down on the "Alpina" badges and markings.

Looks clean and good to see an E31 with so much work done that it allows it to be used very often without fear of dying!

If what lemonayd says is true and its just a 320, then  on the desire to own an alpina that badly! But I know E30s were stock 325i's with a few extras and then converted on arrival to the UK where they not? And never updated on the dealerships system/dvla? Is this the same for the E21's?
