I wonder if my local BMW dealer subscribed to the scrapage scheme.. I could see myself trading in for a new car in 4 months time..

I really like the deep red colour.. but would more than likely be black interior.. fancy adding 19's as well.. if they'll let me add wheels available to the E90 Coupe range..

63mpg? I'd like a bit of that. Performance is adequate for that level of economy. No doubt the tuners will be able to improve it further.

since its the same engine as the 123d
and that produces
204bhp and 0-60 in 7 seconds, i'am sure it would be a case of getting the boost turned up, or bigger turbo from the faster models how ever they make them faster

Considering that a lot of BMWs now have either 4 cylinder petrol, 4 cylinder diesel, 6 cylinder petrol etc engines in different states of tune the old system of the model designation being relevant to engine size would be a nonsense. You can hardly have a 116d, 118d, 120d, 123d all listed as a 120d because its got a 2 litre engine!

Because BMW exists to make a profit and making 4 different capacity engines would be stupidly expensive! Engine management software is a cheaper and more efficient way.

Unfortunately the 123d is twin turbo.
