Booting around the Nurburgring in my 2.7 powered baby :D :D :D :D

Can't wait, It's been a long time in the planning but it's finally gonna happen

The car has been meticulously sorted out with new everything and treble checked.

We will be camping in a local campsite for the week (spent so much money on the car we can't afford a B&B) and will also be seeing the sights.

There will be photo's and maybe a video or two posted up when I get back.

Wish me luck fella's (and frauline's) I may need it :?

Cheers,

Iain T

Daz, any advice you need mate just drop me a PM. 330i sounds good :D. I've changed the diff and fitted different injectors/fse boost valve and changed to dot 5.1 brake fluid since you were last here.

Lee, you have PM.

Aaron, no mate I'm just going off my own bat with the Mrs. She ain't driving though, has trouble handling her 1.2 polo !.

Getting excited now

Cheers,

I was intending to call in at the 'ring later this week, but now it's been decided that I'm off to the Loire valley in France instead. Always next year!

Take care down there, last year(same weekend as Clarkson was there with the Jag diesel) we had one round and there was 3 crashes, one of them very bad, couldn't see which make the car was.
But still, i love the Ring and i am going again in september.
I need the sticker for my new BMW.
We also talked with an american,he had a E38 740 with 850bhp, 15 minutes later my brother had a trip with him, and he was quite pale when he came back...great fun.
Have a nice trip.

Thanks for your words of wisdom gents, much appreciated.

Definatley have square eyes from GP legends 8O

Any tips for driving through France ?, I've heard they are shit hot when it comes to stupidly large fines and radar detectors but is there anything else ?.

Cheers,

They are sneeky gits... I got screwed over in my VR6 a couple of years ago and I wasn't even booting it.. I got a 250 euro fine. They're worse than our motorbike coppers over here...
