I know this should be in the Ebay / Styling section, but I'm so enthused by the latest styling modification to arrive on Ebay that I wanted as many people to see them as possible.
Some of you may claim they're 'rice' etc... but VW's have had them for years, and I have wanted them on my E30's for years too! Shame they only cater for the Chrome Bumper'd E30's at the moment...
See this link for further details...
I REALLY like them!
Giles.

They're not bad (as per my vote placed), without seeing them for real, it would be difficult to say if they would look a little too modern on the e30.
Are they going to make them for the later model. I find it odd that they make them for the earlier model not the later? Surely the market for the later model is bigger?

Styling/Ice section is better suited for this to be honest, I'd need to see a pic before I vote - I saw a Mk1 Golf with crystal headlights yesterday that are really good tho.

Sorry, just saw the link!
Not my cuppa, might be down to the colour of the car tho? Maybe on a red car, but doesn't do that cab any favours.

Giles,
I did see the link, they look smart, but still wondering if they look a little too mordern.
However after reading about the Mk1 Golfs, I remember seeing a set and thinking they look good.
I'd still like to see a set close up on a car!
Probably tempting though, depending on price!

Not just me then!
I don't think changing all the rear panels to the chrome bumper set-up is such a good idea though...
Glad someone else is as enthusiastic about them as me.

Does anyone know of a UK supplier for these?
And if not,is anyone else seriouslty considering getting some, maybe we could do a group buy and get the costs down. At least save on the shipping.
I want some for the touring!

Dude... they won't fit the Touring... Chrome bumper'd cars only... sad I know... I can't have any either. Just have to wait till they start making the facelift units...

Not so sure though...

Would have to see a 'real' pair of the red/clear units on a car I think... Simon...?
Rags... yeah, the early lights will fit an M3...

Giles, the picture which changed your mind from liking them to not, has done the opposite for me. I think they look smart there.
Would like to see them on the back of a red touring ideally!

I think they're very nice- maybe a little modern for say, my M3 (although I'd be tempted to see what the black ones looked like), but I think they freshen up the rear-end (oo-er) nicely.
They're very Vw/Euro look IMHO so I don't think they look rice at all.
Now Lexus lights- they are RICE!

Yeah... I don't know how you can call them Rice... all the Euro VW and Audi owners rave about them, and the best VW's all have them on... even the Mk1 Golfs...
Bloody Audi drivers...
