That looks top notch Dan!
Are the alpina's going on it off your white E30? i think they would suit
Hi-tech in cradley is only 10 minutes from me,how come you traveled to get it on the rollers?

Hi Lee, 16 inch pina reps were sold to a zoner over 6 months ago now. Just fancied a change of wheels TBH, ive bought a fantastic set of Hartge's but now ive been looking at it with the BBS I just cant make my mind up
When I get round to it I will get a couple of new tyres on them and do a trial fit
From what I can gather Hi-tech have a good rep and are well established in building/tuning track cars, I would like to get it on a different set of rollers in the near future just for comparison
Still not managed to weigh it, ive been to 3 local places with a weigh bridge and either been refused by the security pricks or told its broke

Cheers spook
Some more pics
This is what I found when stripping the interior, boot and wing splash guards!

Speaker hole

Rear arch

Sill

And near side speaker hole

Wings

Here is one of the underside after removing the tank

To say I was gob smacked when stripping this down is an understatement! I had to keep going back for another look just to make sure I wasnt hallucinating or something
Its been treated to another 5 litres of waxoil just to make sure

Bloody hell Dan, has this thing been kept in an air tight moisture free bubble???
That is one hell of a nice car, makes my chromie look like i bloody rust bucket!! I am going to take the plunge a stick a tech 1 kit on mine though.
What advantages does the manifold/exhaust wrap give?

It would appear so! One thing I did notice though is the amount of wax everywhere, ive had quite a few E30's but never seen one with this much wax before. If only they were all like thisDan325iSport wrote:Bloody hell Dan, has this thing been kept in an air tight moisture free bubble???
Heat wrap keeps the heat in the pipes which keeps engine bay temps down, also aids engine efficiency I believe
That looks stunning Dan, thin I fancy putting an M50 in mine after the M20 in ran in and sorted. Such a clean looking build, looks like it's ment to be there!
Nice dyno figures too, seems like all the hard work on that engine has payed off, nice one!!

Whens your day off, it needs cleaning big time after sundays attack of the fly's
Ive also noticed the garage roof is leaking since its been hammering it down
Couple more pics, this is what holds the front end up -
I had a pair of struts sand-blasted and powder coated, also bought some brand new back plates that I trimmed a bit to go around the new brakes, just to make sure they didnt go rusty I also had them sand blasted and powder coated

Bolted up to the car with some nice new B8's and H&R springs just after id pulled the new bearing on

And with the lovely 4 pots

Ain't it the business
I'm truly envious

That's a motor isn't it. Done properly in every way. If I had a blank cheque I wouldn't do much different. My vote would go for the tech 1 kit. Just my opinion.
Changed my vote. Seen the error of my ways. Chrome stays fir me too. So mch so I have bought one.
