God all new housing estates look the same these days.

Spend the change on some wood treatment for your fence. And get rid of the alpina copies.

Rest of the cash on new rubber bushes throughout the suspension, and Bilstein dampers to go with the springs.

Get some decent tyres on those BBS, there are many options. I run Dunlop SP9000 because they come in the correct size and have been fantastic over the last 12 months.

Eibach Springs: £140
Bilsteins: £700 ish?
Eibach Rollbars: £275
BBS: £150-200
Dunlop SP9000: £300 fitted
VAT, delivery, labour...

If you've still got spare cash left over, I want your job :)

I have a good mate who works in Europarts so get mega mates rates, so might have a little more to play with.
Not sure about Bilsteins might be a bit ott for a moredoor!

Just want it to look and drive nice... and maybe catch a few people out in the twisty bits!

Don't let the two-door snobs get you down! All E30s deserve the best and a 4 door handles just as well as a 2 door. That list is exactly what I have on my touring and I'm chuffed to bits with it although the exchange rate was much better when I got the bits...

15" BBS, 16" genuine alpinas or hartges if you can find some. I would definitely ditch the colour-coded centre portion of the bumpers, and the door trims, in favour of black placcy. Re-bushing is the best thing to do handling wise - whatever springs and dampers, ARBs etc, you have, they need to be operated by a suspension system in the best condition possible for the best results.

And moredoors are for the discerning e30 enthusiast!

Genuine 16" Alpinas or Hartges would be great, how much would i be looking at for some?

Defo getting Eibach Rollbars, Eibach Springs, not sure what shocks... don't Boge do some good ones?

How difficult is Re-bushing???

So are after-market wheels a BIG NO NO?

Thanks for all your info.

The BBS are light (7.5Kg) without spending hundreds, and suit the car in most peoples opinions, especially non-sport models.

Shocks before roll bars or both IMO, bilstein B8's and eibach springs match perfectly.

Re-bushing is worthwhile, whilst being quite an effort DIY. Do all the rubber bits whilst you're there, engine and gearbox mounts, propshaft guilbo and diff bush will make quite a difference.
