Nova's are no longer the shite boy racer cars, there are a few but there deffinitly an old school cool car in my opinion now

I agree. I used to have one in my younger days. White with yellow Vauxhall/GTE badges. I loved that car - had my first experience of lift-off oversteer in it.

Not sure where Bowood is but maybe next trip we can have a cuppa and let our lads make a mess with Spagetti!!, i am in Trowbridge Wiltshire but only for till tomorrow then off the spain for some sun, your English summer weather leaves a lot to be desired!!!

So far i have been here four days driven to Sliverstone for the F1 (great atmosphere even though not a Brit winner - fair play to the crown they cheered Vettel all the way) but now have seen only 2 E30's, the black touring and a more door chromie. Not one at Silverstone!!!!

I think these E30's are a myth!!

i had one when i was 18 & i fecking loved it,

it got sold to a bloke down the road from me a few year's later when i got hold of a astra gte,

iirc he's still got it only with a 2ltr vectra 130 sri lump in it now.

i might keep my out for it & see if i can get sum pics of it.

mrlee30 there are about 4 e30's within a 10 mile radius of me a red 318i tourer a silver 320i a silver 325i tourer & the one i would love to get a lachs silver hartge 2.7 that'a being restored at the mo so i don't think they are rare round my way.

saw 3 e30s on sunday on a single 10 miles stretch of road, all heading the other way, and while i was in my e30 too. even got flashed by them all, although i didnt respond quick enough as being lhd i didnt actually see them untill they were almost past.

black touring, blue (i think) cabby, and white coupe on some non standard wheels.

still a fair few around here getting used everyday by normal people who've probably had them for years and have no idea that there's and enthusiasts website

I see both sides of this...
i dont like the fact that they are going extinct because parts/ meets become rarer n rarer..

but the fact that it IS becoming a rare car has an appeal to me..due to the fact that it stands out nicely from the crowd of mundane boring modern cars on the roads today..

take for instance the other night..i went down the road to the petrol station to get some petrol..got a thumbs up from a golf driver who nearly crashed into another car purely because he was staring at my car lol and mine looks pretty much standard atm..cant imagine whats going to happen when i get it looking how i want it

yesterday i drove from Stansted to wigan, along thre M11,M25,M1 and M6.... i saw one red four door turd in a services... not a single E30 did i spot on my side of the mway or even on the other side while stisk in a jam on M6 jncn 16/17


i am thinking there are no E30's in UK (except for a few turds), I only see posted ones on this site and you may get the pics from another site !!!!

john - the red touring you saw was either me or the one in westbury, both on a g reg iirc, but mines faded to fuck. poor cosmetics fantastic mechanicals, the way a road slag should be.

See very few E30's on my travels,went down to Norfolk yesterday and did not see any others,did upset the driver of a new 545i though...kept creeping up but just did not understand the 'E30i' badge on the back of the 2.7...

I know I mentioned there were a fair few down here in Devon but in the last couple of weeks there has been an influx of them! I can't even do the school run without seeing another E30 at the mo - no one ever looks as excited as me though LOL

Even my daughter points them out and says "flash your lights mummy!!"

(needless to say, I rarely do - I am one of those slow to react types)
