I think you're OK to drive it. It might be prudent to print off any receipt acknowledging that you've paid it though...
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

you get 5 days grace at the start of month for it to arrive but not halfway through. you risk a failing to display fine but it would be a right coont of a copper that did you for that. dont park where traffic wardens patrol whilst your waiting its arrival either.

You will be fine as it will be on the police national computer that it is taxed and when it was taxed.

What happends if you fit a cover over the car, will they take it off to take a look or will they just give a sh** and check the other one...fuzzy wrote:you get 5 days grace at the start of month for it to arrive but not halfway through. you risk a failing to display fine but it would be a right coont of a copper that did you for that. dont park where traffic wardens patrol whilst your waiting its arrival either.

usually they drive around in automatic camera vans . i dont know if theyed bother stopping to look under a cover to check the reg? its possible as a car with a cover over it is likely a sorned car and shouldnt be on a road. if its in a drive they wont touch it, no matter if its not taxed or not sorned.
