Gordon and Dave did this website proud today,

A good sum of money was raised for the Rowans Hospice, everybody that turned out today deserves a pat on the back.

Malcolm would of been proud of us

Hopefully soon gaszman..

Funny thing, I met a zoner later today at the American car meet in Southsea of all places (said he used to have a 316 heavily modified - big magazine feature or something - his name was Paul if any of you know of him). He was quite interested in buying it... He reckoned the shell could be salvaged, just needed a lot of love and attention. Unfortunately, what with the cab aswell, I don't see myself having the time or finances to do it properly so might come a day in the not too distant future when I'll pass it on to someone like him to get it properly saved.

Anyway.. Nice to meet you all today - quality day out all round.

Had a strange experience on the way home from the meet.
Pulled into a lay by just outside Portsmouth, for an urgent leak, had got the relevant appendage in hand when i was rudely interupted by a herd of Police cars and two large Black
4by 4,s. The occupiers of the two vehicles, far eastern appearence, were dragged out, forced onto their knees, and handcuffed very quickly. After i had dried my trainers i managed to get a couple of shots,
not very clear, did venture closer but was politely told to "feck off"

Strangest part of it was a young family pulled in while all this was going on to let their toddler
have a wee, and they did,nt take a blind bit of notice.
Is this a normal occurence in Pompey. The old Bill were all tooled up and dressed in S.W.A.T
like outfits btw.

Many thanks to all who turned up :thumb: - tough to those who didn't, you missed a great day out.

For those who don't know, we raised £231 for the Hospice yesterday, so a big thanks to everyone.

Again a huge thanks to Dave, (Gaszman) for an excellent job as chef. Top work mate. Much appreciated.

Thanks also to Mark for sorting the raffle for me, and to Shonagh for raping the attendees for their £5ers... :snigger:
