The two words cheap and performance do not go together.

I picked up some Toyo Proxes T1-Rs this week for 125quid for the set, but for 18's you're never going to be cheap because that size is for the monied folks with big-wheeled cruisers (Jags and the like) or people who can afford blinging rims, so companies have no incentive to make and sell a cheap unit in that size.

Best bet is to look on Camskill for whatever offers they've got going at the moment.

I can't imagine that you get much performance with 18's on anyway though; the ride must be hard as nails!

If you are looking for 205/55/15 then dunlop SP9000 are good value and performance.

Those Falken FK452's are on camskill for 70quid apiece - that's probably as cheap as you'll get for 18's.

Falken 452's are great on an E34 chassis. Very, very respectable performance against tyres costing up to 2.5 times as much.

I've run a few sets of them on my E34 for a few years now.

Fullrun are one of the cheap import tyres that having engulfed the UK market in recent years and are pretty lousy.
