Something that has always bugged me about my car is that when the ignition is swithced completely off, the needle rises from 0rpm (where it sits at stage 1 and 2 of the ignition)to about 1000rpm. I've checked the batteries in the dash and they are fine, which has left me scratching my bonce. Is this normal for e30s, or is it just another example of my cars individual charm?!

Some needles pulse momentarily when ign switched off etc.
Its just a silly thing the Si board does sometimes, I think they get bored and start doing little things for fun.

Mine pulses just after the IGN is switched off AND the speedo does it too
but then the tach settles to well below 0rpm so I think it is individual charm
