I'd get a quality headunit and speakers, and take it to an auto electrician with a good rep.

Do what magpie said, will help a bunch, providing that the bushes are old and wearing down.
Also a steering rack upgrade to an E36 rack as that makes a stunning improvement to the car apparently, without going as far as a Z3 rack and with a lot less effort involved in finding one and for a lot cheaper too. People are practically giving them away.
Or go into the engine and replace all nasty little parts that are wearing down.
Just keep her in top condition. Maybe HID lights as well as they are a good improvement if you do any night time driving.
--- Maybe a nice set of alloys to keep the 15" BBS safe, and new tyres!
Its up to you mate, your car!

Uni is killing the project.
I really wanna go turbo and already have m/s so just need manifold & turbo, but I know the spending won't stop there!! Hardtop isn't a bad idea? I've got the e36 vadar seats and a pioneer DVD head unit, already with m30 lump fitted, do I go for more power/turbo??
Or go more cosmetic?

Anyone who knows of an S50 B32/B30 E30 for sale, please let me know.
If someone gave me a grand to spend on the car (the 4dr) I'd.....
Get an iS lip, SE sill covers and tech I boot spoiler
Get a few bodywork blemishes sorted
Fit touring ARBs and think about some other suspension upgrade (M-tech shocks & springs?)
Maybe pay someone to clean/detail the engine/bay, though I've no idea what that would cost!
I'd also like a z3 rack, but I think I'd have long since jizzed all the money away by then...

Z3 rack and linkage kit would really make a excellent inprovement to how the car feels.
Also I would get myself 5 top quality tyres.
Nice 6 Branch Manifold and custom system.

I suspose thats one way of blowing £1k and sugnificantly lightening your car. However I think the performance would suffer with this method.TheHeap wrote:burn it

How much BHP do you think you can get out of the engine now mate?fuzzy wrote:£1000 would get me a bigger intercooler , siemens injectors and a chip for 370bhp and 400lbft of torque with a couple of hundred quid left for a weeks fuel.
Also what kind of speeds are you getting?

450 on standard internals i believe but i dont want to go as far as that.iirc its only done about 20000 miles on the partially rebuilt block, recon head and 10000 on the brand new turbo and two thousand or so on the new headgasket .Felix79 wrote:How much BHP do you think you can get out of the engine now mate?fuzzy wrote:£1000 would get me a bigger intercooler , siemens injectors and a chip for 370bhp and 400lbft of torque with a couple of hundred quid left for a weeks fuel.
