Well finally got my baby back after 5 days in the body shop.

And here's how she looks now, also had the rear arch done at the same time, so now all arches are MINT :D

Im well chuffed, just got to get new clips for that little plastic trim.

Now on with the show, got so much to do.

Put the iS interior back in.

Fit new rear -60mm Apex springs.
Fit Paged rear brake shoes.
Paint rear drums red.
Fit front 325 calipers with ATE power discs and Pagid fast road pads.
Motul RBF600 brake fluid to go in.
Paint spare rocker cover black and polish the BMW bit.
Fit K & N panel filter.

Feeeeeew, i think thats it!

Gona keep me busy for a while, and not look at my back account :?

they have knocked it out and filled it (eye of an experienced panelbeater) but have made a damn fine job of the filler work, no ripples in that panel.
how much did they charge btw?

They pushed the old panel out and then used filler, he said the deepest with filler he had to go was 5mm.

It cost me Ԛ£400 for that and the arch. No VAT tho, paid him cash in hand :D :?

Andy, missed the post man for the air filter so its at my local post office, missis is gona pick it up tomorow.

Why not paint the rear drums? I've got some black Hammerite to do my rocker cover so i guess i could use that. Wont it look silly with red front brakes and black rear?

No, got it done at a place called Keltic motors.

Very good people to deal with, and pleased withe the result.

Just need to get some clips for the bit of plastic trim, anyone know where i can get them? Do BMW list them?

Someone always comes along to piss on your cornflakes.

If you're happy with the work and how much it's cost, then fine. I certainly don't think you've been ripped off. I've seen cars emerge from the bodyshop that you can't even see your face in.......
I bet you're chuffed as fook to have it back on the road looking lovely and sparkly.

Nice repair job. I didn't think that repair was possible.

I have been hit 3 times whilst parked up this year. New driver door and paint work to rear bumber.

Sounds bad but the bits damaged had blemishes so got it all sorted for free. :D
