IMO there's no such thing as a dumb question, we all learn! I would wire it up to either your headunit so they switch on with your headunit only (and not drain your battery), or some other live feed that runs off the ignition, otherwise wired through a switch, but the headunit is most desirable. Again, more than happy to help you sort it out if need be :thumb:

Can I just add that Kingcruizer's suggestion is the cheapest & easiest option - costs all of £2 if that? In fact I know I have loads of switches so it wouldn't even cost that!

I'm thinking a switch will be better, easy to turn on/off :)

Can't seem to find one on Halfords website :?

Most power invertors have a switch on them (basically a "portable mains socket")... If you go down the switch route please make sure you fuse the wire!!!ӬӬAs for not finding it on the halfords website, you just need a simple single throw on off rocker switch, halfords or maplins or most motor factor stores will stock them

You could run a cable from the headrests to the remote terminal on your amp, that would do the trick (not to state the obvious the positive cable from the headrests of course)

That's a good point, bit of hassle removing the rear seats but sounds ideal and would look tidy 8)
