Only of interest to Cab owners

Found this on a newsgroup.... looks very cheap compared with the £200 is they go for now...don't know if they ship to the UK but worth an ask if anyone wants one...what are they...wind deflectors!

I want one.
Nice one DaveD. My missus lives in Americashire currently - if there's a demand, I'll look into how much it'll cost to 'bulk' buy them and ship them here.
Prices - $15 to ship it to her place, $100 (probably plus tax - 8%) comes to $123 - roughly £82. Might cost up to £30 each to ship them to the uk. That means £120 max. per unit.

By the sound of it, it just sits on top. What stops someone pinching it ?
There is NO nucleus.
Hi when you park if you are in a safe enough area to leave the hard top down you need to take it off and put it into the boot, thats why it is so easy to put in place remove, suppose to really kill the wind on motor way or 40 mph + driving

says will fir with or withough role bars, has anybody got some form of cage in a cabby?

i bought one off ebay in february this year.it was second hand but absolutley perfect..182 euro delivered to Ireland from France. I have to say it's fantastic..70mph and hardley a ruffle of air when all the windows are up...even when they are all down the deflector makes a massive difference. Its very easy to fit. There are two hooks at each side which you pull out and hook into where the seat belt comes out and then push it back into place until it completely covers the back seat. There is a lip on the pasenger side and i put this under the rear lid and then close the lid on top of it and hey presto nobody can take it quickly without undoing the release ..also ..i think it looks class and you dont see many around..in fact i have not seen any here in Ireland. My advice...buy buy buy..well worth it

That's where my USA connection comes in..... she can take care of the shipping. I'm need to put something together for the mods to demonstrate how I intend to manage the bulk-buying process and then I'll talk to the company directly about buying discounts.

I have found the raceland European site and had a reply from them
"Hallo,
At the moment they are only available on the USA market, but they will
come soon to the European market.

Thanks DaveD
I appreciate your help.
I'll get the buying plan prepared for the mods and we'll get it moving. My timeframe for getting them over the pond is 4 weeks but the speed of transit will affect the cost.
Thanks for the show of interest, 10's a good number for an initial purchase.
