changing lhd headlights for rhd

hi i have a 318 that was origanaly a uk car then it went overseas for a few years and the headlights were converted to lhd anyhow it has failed its mot on the beam dipping the wrong way but the lights have the original uk reg number etched on them so i belive they are the original ones i have looked at them and they look exactly the same as my uk 325 is there a way of converting them back to rhd beam patern if so how do i do it

Unscrew these three screws (they won't fall out), pull the back of the light unit back slightly, and turn it so that the screws are at the other end of the slot. Retighten screws, and your beams will now be set to UK pattern.
If you park pointing towards a wall, Which way does the light go. LHD will flick up to the right, RHD will flick up to the left.

thanks for that have had the screws out and all looked the same as my lights so will turn them like you say and see how we get on
