Cabin length is EXACTLY the same size on 2 doors, 4 doors, tourings, whatever!78dude wrote: - due to the cabin is a bit longer
This is what i have always believed, my only thought is there might be a difference due to the rear doors on the 4 door car.Brianmoooore wrote:Cabin length is EXACTLY the same size on 2 doors, 4 doors, tourings, whatever!78dude wrote: - due to the cabin is a bit longer

Main part of the carpet is identical, the second part that sits verticaly and tucks under the rear seat varies between model types. This accomodates the different seat cushion shape between 2/4/touring types.
Youth is wasted on the young.
Makes sense, should be easy enough to get hold of a decent rear section though.daimlerman wrote:Main part of the carpet is identical, the second part that sits verticaly and tucks under the rear seat varies between model types. This accomodates the different seat cushion shape between 2/4/touring types.
Cheers folks

does the later E30 floor carpet comes with insulation fitted together? Mine is a 1984 2 door and the floor carpet doesn't come with any insulation pads.
