And as for the low-riders... No they're not cool. They're vulgar to say the very least. Everyone's entitled to their opinions though.
Goodnight mate. Take good care of that model now.... Or maybe someone else with a 6-Pot will !!!
Anyone who knows of an S50 B32/B30 E30 for sale, please let me know.

Besides she thinks E30 look horrible and refurs to it as an old banger!
I've just trawled through all this thread, god I must be bored, I own an is and a chromie, The 318is is a compromise because I want an e30 as a daily and its on LPG. I'd love to run a 6 pot every day.
Don't tar me with the 318is brush, the wannabies do my head in too. They handle well but are buzzy little sewing machines.

This is why I love owning an Alpina!The_Diddler wrote:at this thread, yet another Zone Gold classic contender, what started off about a bit of street racing, quickly turned into a 4-pot 6-pot bashing epic again.

I've yet to see a Hartge vs Alpina thread happen in the time I have been on the zone

In all honesty i'm not really bothered what engine my car has in it, when i do put a 2.5 24v in one day i'll probably take the piss out of the IS myself.

I knew from the title it would be a 6 pager or more!
I do believe the RWD will be a lot quicker out of corners than a fwd car though as it can exit with full power.
I realy dont get this 4 pot 6 pot crud, if the IS gave the same performance and driving plesure as the 325, BMW would have dropped the 325, BMW know a bit more about this than we do.
Also, a few things ive noticed-
Its not a good idea to post about racing on here as it seems to cause a lot of friction.
When you quote performance fig/facts or mpg ect it needs to be spot on, or the likes of BSS will rip you up, and you cant fight back because he is right.
Bob will always chuck in a bait, why is there always somone to bite? he must be laughing his tats off.
Every 4/6 pot thread results in Fuzzy, E30 turbo and the 24v lads laughing at the little men fighting in the corner .

I hope she doesn't ride without some sort of protection, very dangerous.
Whats going on with the massive can with a tiny little hole?

Lol I aint even gonna answer the first bit as far as the massive can and the tiny hole that’s how all the little scootays are these days because of the new emissions regulations its pretty much wiped out the 2 stroke. My one don’t have such a small can though........

You have a nice can with a big hole.
he might wind his neck in when I reveal that whilst he may own an M3, he's a self confessed bbs centre cap thief.Bob will always chuck in a bait, why is there always somone to bite? he must be laughing his tats off
also if an individual had been convicted of dangerous driving due to drifting in an m3 infront of a copper, then I would have personally avoided this thread
'Dillusional fool' was it Bob? perhaps all the fools should hear about your not so great attributes?
A justified post I feel, sorry ChrisW, I only speak the truth.

I think you need to correct your facts,
I was convicted with careless driving by north wales police after correcting over-steer exiting a wet diesel soaked roundabout which he also slid on. Which I believe most people who know me know this anyway
As for centre caps.. At £25 from the dealer why go to such an effort? I never ran centre caps anyway with BBS because they rattle annoyingly and fall off if they are missing parts.
As for dillusional iS owners.. I had one once, it really isn't that good.
Who's winding their neck in?

ive been responsable for more thread locks than loctite well I did mention a red touring that I noticed some thief had releaved its centres, and you did say it was you.. but yes careless driving is not quite dangerous..Bob_S wrote:I think you need to correct your facts,
