lhd control consoles!

hey people,

ive just managed to get hold of a LHD console from a german cab that was breaking. Im talking about the plastic bit in the dash that houses the radio, clock/obc, heater controls, etc....

i was wondering if any of you zoners have fitted this part as its not a straight forward swap with the RHD model due to the form on either sides being different.

i have a Kenwood PSW 9524 head unit which folds out and is slightly obstructed by the steering wheel when open, though this mod is ideal for all those with screens, (or those planning one like me!)

i would appreciate some good pics and any tips, as this would aid me in getting a good fit. Its temporarily in at the moment and looks awesome.
