PM'd Toby about this yesterday and got a call the same day. He seems very genuine and eager to sort this all out. He had no idea I'd ordered/paid for any. So much for the list of buyers...

As I understood the bank details Dan PM'd were for TTV/20:20 vision, I hope this turns out the be the case and it's not gone anywhere else!

dont panic just yet I have already requested bank statements dating from 1st jan 09 and should have them on my desk mid morning monday (tomorrow) so should be able to tell you when you ring me, staright away and we can sort money back or parts despatched while your on the phone.

Ok guys, I have been through our statements and we have recieved payment from the following.

We were never given a list of these people so would not have known what the payment was for, infact these payments had been highlighted as no one knew what they were.

I have payment from the following people

Mike Sayer (I have your address from your pm so your parts will be despatched tonight on overnight via interlink)
Mike Tanswell (I have your address from your pm so your parts will sent tonight on overnight via interlink)

I have no addresses or contact details for the following people

D. Poulter
CP Short
GD Evans

If the above three people could get in touch on 01473 312266 I can sort refunds or parts.

But if we have not had your money we cannot refund it.

Im happy for the thread to stay but i would like all company names and info removed as some of the comments give a misrepresentation of the company. I cannot see why this should cause a problem.

My initial dealings were with Dan(Jhonno) as well,and he did send me a set of the folded tabs,NOT the milled set.
I assume these were paid for before they left your premises???

I've tried phoning the number you've listed in an attempt to get this sorted, however, no one answered the call, so' i've sent you an email and await your reply.

Refund cheque from TTV received today, as promised and one day after asking. I'll say it again - very impressed with TTV, they're doing an outstanding job sorting this mess out (which wasn't/isn't part of their remit given the problems and root causes) and i've found them friendly, professional and understanding. Traits not shared by the organiser of this group buy...

Ahh Mr Clarkson, you are an unverified buyer on paypal. I have checked the records this morning for you to find out whats happened and it seems you have payed but not put your delivery address in paypal so it is showing a completed transaction but unverified.

Please let me have your delivery address and I will send the parts immediatley.

Hopefully everyone is sorted now but if there is anyone not happy please just get in touch.

Thanks for everyones co-operation in sorting out this mess and your kind words in pm's and emails are greatfully recieved, I'm just sorry it didnt go smoothly for any of us.

I have been through the whole thread and edited any of my posts with negative comments which I wrongly assumed to be the case with TTVRacing.

I think I speak for everyone involved when I say you and your company have gained a lot of respect on here for entering what must have seemed a hostile forum and sorting out this mess in such a gracious, professional, gentlemanly and efficient manner. :thumb:

Ok guys, thanks. My priority is to make sure everyone is happy with the parts or the refund so I can sleep at night. LOL

I would like to appologise for the hassle anyway as we should have kept an eye on the forum thread from day one, then it would have never got this far.

I was horrified when a friend notified me we had bad publicty on the site and people were nt happy hence I came on to sort it out.

Im glad you have come up with a new method for group buys hopefully to protect the forum members and any future companies involved from this happening again.

As long as everyone is happy, I'm happy so lets put it behind us and leave it there.

I have spoken to Dan on the phone, He will be posting and he has assured me he is not avoiding the situation.

From what he has told me he is trying to get his head around the whole situation before he blurts out a post that could possibly make things worse.

Give Dan a break, although I'm not to happy he didnt defend us, and didnt explain what happened, everyone makes mistakes and he was emabarresed enough when he realised the drawings and quantities were incorrect etc and we had already made the parts. We are all only human and im sure we have all made plenty of blunders in the past LOL.

Life is too short to have enemies, lets just put it behind us and move on!

(That is from me personnaly, not the company)
