My new project cabbie arrived this afternoon
Just poking around it,I noticed that the rear 'battery box' is filled with a huge ballast wieght,anyone know why?

if this is the case, i guess it should be sprung / damped? unless it just alters the resonant frequency of the shell, which is in essence a spring with a mass, so likes to resonate
