posted in tech help but getting no response.......:roll:

Hi all,
Just bought myself a 535i sport m30 lump but it appears that the seller has cut off the loom connector to the ecu!!

I am looking to use my 325 loom connector but splice it into the 3.5 wiring.
Does anyone know the corresponding colour matches that need to be connected?

Oh - also looking for 3.5 ecu if anyone has one knocking about

Don't know a lot about M30s, but isn't the M20 loom almost the same anyway?

dont know - i'm gonna keep the loom just splice it onto the ecu plug :mad:

You can use any 6 pot ecu i think, i have in my M30 , but then it's chipped too.
Try it, can't hurt anyway.

what code is on 320 or 325 ecu? - I have a chip too :D

Runs ok, i didn't think it would, but with the chip it was and still is ok

Still after any colour matching advice - have 320 ecu connector looking to wire up tp m30 butchered loom :cry:
