hello all.i was flicking through some old mags and found one of a alpina c2 2.7 convertible automatic in a weird red colour.anyway apparently this car produces or produced 260 bhp is this true as in the years ive been on here im yet to see a 260 brake 2.7.ive seen a few 220brake but never 260 oh yeah the tech1 comes soon ill hosty pics as soon as she arrive

260 is the figure for the M30 based Alpina engines found in the M3 shelled B6.

260bhp is the magazine power, 210bhp is the dyno power.

what was player6's e30? that was 260bhp iirc . i cant remember the engine used but im sure it was m20 based?

Click here for some talk on the second page regarding m20s at 250bhp plus. Reggid's 3.1 is in quite a high state of tune and makes 265bhp, so I find it difficult to believe that a 2.7 for road use made a similar figure.
