I've been thinking about this today and I am quite annoyed about it again now.

Hello guys
I am a little upset Mr Jonson has not been defending us here as he has caused us absolute havoc over these camber tabs etc and other parts.
We are a machine shop who make parts for motorsport and we were working from Mr Johnsons drawings and instructions.
First of all, the drawings he provided were incorrect and we made a batch of 50 sets which are now scrap at our loss.
Then he did not realise the ARB tabs were handed left and right so we then only made one side, again we were making what he asked for!
Then he decided the camber tabs were 4 off per beam not two off.
Infact we have lost money over these parts, Mr johnson is difficult to get hold of at the best of times.
Then we were told not to send anything until he had checked them on his and another car, then we found out they should be milled, not formed and someone complained.
Finally there is confusion over where the tabs were to be sent as apparantly he had arranged someone to weld the tabs on for his customers.
I feel I must appologise for the delay even though as you can see we didnt stand a chance working with this guy.
I have all the parts ready to send but am not sure who actually wants them or who have paid.
I have pay pal payments from
MARTIN STONE VERIFIED
GARRY SHARPE NOT VERIFIED
HENRY WINKWORTH-SMITH VERIFIED
NICHOLAS CLARKSON NOT VERIFIED
DAVID BLAIR VERIFIED
Can some one please tell me am I sending these parts out to the individuals or to a welding company which Mr Jonson has arranged cos I have no idea.
You are welcome to ring me (Toby) on 01473 312266 as I would like to sort this out just as much as you would.
We have a very good reputation for our products and machining world wide and I would like to keep it that way.
Best Regards
Toby

Ok I have actually just taken time to read the whole thread and would like to point out we have followed Mr Jonsons instructions exactly, and ALL the mistakes were his fault, and Im not too happy about the replys he has been giving you guys, as most of them seem to be untrue.
Perhaps you would like to make a comment Dan or you are welcome to come and see me in person! You know where to find me!

From how I understand it, it was your choice to fold the plates, ive seen the drawing and I am not a machinist but it is blatantly obvious the centres of the plates are milled out. The only reason I can think of that you chose to fold the plates is to reduce cost.
I phoned you last week and you told me you were dispatching these last Tuesday, 2 days ago.
You were also dispatching these on the 22nd of April

I am not going top waste my time arguing with you as you have wasted enough of my time already and cost me money through your stupidity, by rights i should charge you for all the parts we made to your incorrect drawings the first two times if you can call them drawings, they were incorrectly dimensioned, no where did it say the parts were to be machined or fabricated to what tolerence or what material they were to be made from it was just a sketch. We have been through this before with you.
Also with regards to your phone call on Tuesday, I asked you to e-mail me a list of the people who were waiting and who wanted them to go to the BBB's for welding and you have still not sent it!
I appreciate you are going to defend yourself on this forum infront of your buddies, but you know this is not our fault and you have already slated our good name which I am very angry about.
The above people who payed on pay pal will have the parts despatched tonight and I will take it you have not arranged welding. Anyone of your other cutomers I dont have names addresses or any other details from you so untill I do I will be unable to fullfill your order.

Ok if they are packed please dispatch them. If you could drop me a pm letting me know where they are going that would be great. (I can't remember what address I gave you when I paid)
Thanks
Henry
Thanks
Henry
Hi Toby,
I paid with a Pernament TSB Bank Transfer. Sent you a e-mail or two when I was doing it too at the time
I was getting mine sent to Dan as I was getting some more bits posted over in the one go.
If you were told what they were actually for and bolts will be held between them most people would assume they had to be milled anyway although it would depend on how basic the drawings given to you were.
Could we actually see the drawings that were given to you?

Wrong Dan Toby..
Dan Jhonston's username is Jhonno
I sent my money to him and he paid you, id rather have my money back but if thats not possible then I will pm you my address details.
It would be best if you could post pictures of the drawings 'just for the record' but like you say there is no point arguing over it now. This needs to be brought to a close as its being going on long enough

Toby,
Thanks for taking the time to come on the forum and explain things!
These forums aren't always very hospitable so I appreciate you making the effort to give your side of the story, it all makes more sense now!
I am Martin Stone, delivery to my address as on Paypal is best for me, thanks.

Unfortunately its seems its far to easy to jump to conclusions or make assumtions based on minimal fact on internet forums. Id say the buck has been well and truly passed. TTV Racing has always made every effort to assist its customers in every way, but in this instance our efforts have been portrayed incorrectly.
I spend many hours on forums assisting and supplying people with our products and am yet to have any kind of poor feedback.
