E36 Touring

Since iv upgraded to a E36 328 touring from the E30 316 touring having couple of niggles im sure i can sort but like to know before hand as removing interior trim is a bit fragile upon refit therefore like to only remove it once.

What size are the speakers in the roof, doors and kickwells?

The correct name of that recirc valve under the inlet manifold?

And i been told last week the alarm keeps going off at random it bleeps every 10-15mins then stops but indicators flash in sync continuously but headlights don't?

The front speakers in the kickwells are 5.25" (13cm)...the ones in the door are dependant on which system you have fitted and how old the car is...

The rear ones are also 13cm, AFAIK...not sure if those changed if you specified the HK or premium sound packages (they did on the saloons & coupes)...

The vavle under the inlet manifold is the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) Valve, I believe..

shackey the valve that is screwed on your motor is commonly known as the cyclon valve wait till ant comes back its not a hard job and its relativley cheap to do

What does the valve do ? and what problems does it cause if it breaks or is on its way out ?

Fushion_Julz im not sure what audio package in there? i suspect blown rear speakers it sounds like an annoying fart. So might as well buy some decent speakers and replace them all, so 13's it is. cheers!
