It's pretty much all fixed now, managed to pull out the dent in the valence, fix the grill back and you cannot really tellFelix79 wrote:Hows the rest of the damage you suffered on the cab mate?ImysE30 wrote:Checking on my wheels today, hopefully they'll be finished it time

Had to fit a new power steering rack as the one on the car had broke, was making a nasty noise

Wheels getting repaired, should be done by the end of the week

That's good to hear mate, it looked really bad to my untrained eye ( I think the rim damage got me going ouch )
Did you have to replace the tyre at all or were they undamaged?
The Alpina is running alot better now ( not stinking of petrol ) just got a few bits need doing and then finish the body work off.

It looked worse than it actually was, the rim damage was pretty bad, i've had to remove the little lip on all the wheels, look better now though
The tyres are fine, just had 2 new one's fitted on the front.
Looked very nice at the last meet

I may have 4 new Goodyear F1's on it by then. I've got a replacement cluster housing comming so all my Alpina dials will be working ( I put them back in as I love them so much more than the M3's ).
It sounds amazing now the engines all done. I had the valve clearances all done and it's make it even more silky smooth. The car feels like it's got a bucket load more umph about it. Just need to put an Alpina 6 branch on over the log branch and I think it will be hitting 195bhp to 200bhp ( it should be 195bhp but I guess it proberly around 185-190 bhp with the snapped manifold stud )
If you want i take you out for a quick blast , you'll be shocked how savage te bloody thing is

LOL.
I'm tempted to eventually put a m30 in the Alpina and turn it into a B6
I will have to bug Rav and see if I can get a go in his cabby also

Anyone heard from blackcountrybimmerman, capri-rob, priddie? They were at the last meet IIRC
Everyone on the list above came to the first meet apart from town325i and E300Paddy.
