Does anyone know how hard it is to fit a Jaguar engine into an E30? I don't know Jags too well...

I'm probably going to try getting a 5.3 V12 in there, or the 6L flavour, whatever!

The obvious choice is an E34 M30B34, but what about mounts, loom etc. on other engines? Has anyone done a Jaguar conversion before?

What else goes in?!

I don't really want V8 lazy power, and I'm looking to mess around with turbocharging whatever I put in there.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Guess that anything is possible, afterall, just look at that lunatic in PPC with the 27 litre Rover SD1!
Apart from the obvious what gearbox/diff/suspension questions,I would start by measuring the width of an E30's engine bay,and the width of a Jaguar V12....

BMW V12's have been fitted in there for a long long time so i'd imagine Jag V12 fits there also quite nicely.

At least it'd be different swap so go for it if you get hold of Jag V12 cheaply :)

Lots of work in that swap, though.
