I recently wired in Rear fog lights under the impression that there are two rear fog lights. I went down to ask my local parts guy at the dealer and he said from factory there was only one on the drivers side to prevent the confusion of thinking they are brake lights. His car was from germany, are the laws in the UK different? I've had some of you guys say there are two from factory.
Which is it?

Mine has two from the factory but I have been told that rear fog lights are illegal here.

Correct! Your car will pass an MOT test with only one rear fog working, but it must be the RH one.baptie0 wrote:for an mot in the uk you must have a fog light on the offside rear of the car. if the car has two rear fog lights then it still has what the dvla require so should not be a problem.
