Another question!
Now do you guys look after your hood on your cab in the winter? Anything I would need to do [like getting a car cover etc] to make sure it dont brake or whatever? I know getting the hard-cover would be a good idea but that may not happen.
Winter care?

Not much you can do other than clean and reproof regularly. Get a rear screen cover. Hard top is the best option obviously. Good tip is don't lower the roof if it's too cold as it can damage the screen.
Renovo.com do some good products, i've just recoloured and reproofed with their stuff and the 5 yr old hood is literally like new again.

I was told never put one of those plastic car covers on the roof .. moisture builds up between it and the roof fabric which is something you don't want ... unless you can get an air gap between the two.
And definately don't fold the roof when too cold .... I put mine down 1 1/2 years ago when it was -5 c and got two small cracks in the rear window.
I gave up with Bmw impregnating agent ... didn't seem to do anything but it is good for a sun filter ... just use water replellent spray until I can get a new roof.
