Roof Racks on a Shadowline?

A couple of questions.

I need to transport 4(!) bikes on my E30, or at least I need to try to.

I have ordered one of the Halfords style 3 bike carriers for the back but still need to transport 1 on top.

Would any of the roof racks that fit the E30 scratch or damage the Shadowline trim on my 1990 lux? The trim is perfect and I am not sacrificing it for this, no matter how much of a work horse the car should be!

Ideas? Also would anyone have such a roof rack I can rent from them here for 2-3 days?

I use a roof rack on my touring to carry bikes, the clamps that attach to the trim is protected by rubber feet and cause no damage what so ever.
