I have always heard the Renovo kit is very good.

They charge about 60 for the whole kit, while Autoglym is only 20 from halfrauds.

I will definitely buy the Renovo kit as soon as pay day comes, in about 2 weeks, but I was just wondering is Autoglym kit alright to use just for the time being? Are they good or crap?

Autoglym is not to be knocked because of the price.
I use it and for the money it is a good piece of kit.
Never used the Renovo kit so can't comment on that

Hi..I have used the autoglym kit on my old hood before it was recently replaced.. it did a real good job. The old hood was getting thread bare looked horrid from underneath.. It kept the rain out and the pre-cleaner got rid of the dirt too. I do not know if you vacuum your hood but it really helps to remove the loose dirt before applying the cleaner and the protector. I don't remember the water beading like freshly applied resin polish , it did however run off like tent canvas. Cheers David :D If you ever need to relace your hood I know a guy who been fitting hoods to E30 and other Convertibles for 30 years.. fantastic job £825 including mobile fitting David  :P
