325i pistons on a 2.7 crank

So according to the 2.7 sticky if i put 325 pistons on a 2.7 (crank and rods) the pistons will not reach the top of the cylinder by about 1-2mm.

Would this not be an ideal way of reducing compression for a boost project? And would this mean that an adjustable cam pulley would not be needed?

It's one way to do it but you'll be somewhere around 7.5-1cr, maybe less.

That's eta crank, 320 rods, 325i pistons.

yes it can be done like this but you will need to run crazy boost
