Just curious really,think it would look pretty cool in an E30

alright mate-had a quick flick on the OEM..
the e30 sunroof is listed as part# 541 219 067 10 (steel)
the e28 sunroof is listed as 541 219 123 21 (steel) or 541 219 173 90 (glass)
so could definately be a different part, but they look the same on the Diagrams???
may be a case of find the Saab in a scrappy and try

Can't answer your question, but different part nos don't really mean the parts are different. The tiniest insignificant change in detail would result in a different part no.
Also the diagrams in the ETK are for part identification only, and often bear little resemblance to the actual part.
IIRC,(which I quite often don't), this question has been asked before, and I think the anawer was no.
