The 335i has 103k on the clock but has done 23 miles in 4 years

325 in a 91 cab. Do the engines have any sort of date stamp on them, would be nice to know if this is the original lump?

I think in some cases it really adds a value to the car as it shows it has been cared for. But they say you buy on the quality of the car and not worry about the milage too much .

does it exclude non e30s :P

my dads 1999 e46 323i which he had from new, now driven by his mother in law has 260k FSH too, shows the mileage bodywork wise but the mechanicals are spot on, all genuine parts used

topaz blue on 17" low profiles with yellow interior, only seen one other e46 with the same interior

247,000 miles :D :D I bought it on 154,000.

I did change the engine though at 232,000 due to a number of oil leaks and broken manifold bolts,it could have been repaired but was easier to pop a new motor in,the new one was out of a 525i with 155,000.

The BMW's are only just run-in at 100k, I've only got 89k on mine but the previous 525 had 180k when sold but having seen it up for sale again recently it would appear to have been clocked. A friends Octavia taxi has 370k miles but those buggers just don't seem to die.

It's usually at this point that someone mentions the bloke with the Volvo P1800 that has done something like 3 million miles, so I thought I'd get it in first!

Cue frantic googling for his name etc..

I recall bimmerboys white 325i touring with 300k. It was on the original head gasket and still had aluminium wishbones if i remember correctly!

Tracked and fragged though!

Dan he's still got the engine in his garage, went really well for a 2.5.

Still on the original hex style non stretch head bolts!

my silver touring boed out on 242,000 :( i could of kept it going but the third engine change was getting boring. Those trips to the ring were taking their toll on it!
