Instead of my usual several pints after work on a Saturday night, I offered to run some of the staff home instead. Late night, dry Welsh roads, little 318. Woke with a very big smile this morning.

OK it's lacking in a bit of power but it never ceases to amaze me the handling of the little 4 pot. Loads of fun around the twisties. A very different handling car to the 325. :D

Did the very same thing myself last night in my 318IS after being designated driver at a poker night with some work mates. It's funny when you get the "so what size engine does this have...?" from your passengers

 know what u mean. This is the first 4 pot I've had and I was planning to M50 it, but it goes so well I'm really not sure if I should start trying to fix something that's not really broken! Never been in a 318is but I'd love to have a go in one.

It's the way it turns into corners. Very sharp and it's totally standard too. I had a slight 4 wheel drift going on at one point! Absolutley loved it.

They're not the fastest car i've ever driven but mine never fails to put a smile on my face - love it!
