sadly thought my cabby was going to be finshed but its bloody not, going back into the work shop to have the rear arche done again and then valeted wont be back untill next week.

Not the only with bad luck today.
I replaced my rear shock mounts today and on the way home the garage, BANG, got home, took hardtop off and in the conservatory, Missus well pissed at me. the bloody thing shat itself on the passenger side out of its metal casing.
Back in the garage again tomorrow now.

I'm finally getting my E30 back after 8 weeks so really want to give it a good run. Is the meet still on for this weekend? Where is it taking place?

If its ready in time u mean, been at the garage today and thay were working on it as i was pulling into the workshop.
Not much left to do on it as most of your list was done iirc.

Sorry we didn't make this one in the end guy's, the ongoing saga of the ebay bargin which has not turned out to be a bargin continues!!!!!!!! Dave the man that can got it through the mot for me didn't have it back 24 hrs and the gears went, he came and replaced the master cylinder and away I went loving the e30.........300 miles later and about 2 hrs before I was gonna leave for the bbq......you guessed it the gears have gone again!!!!! hoping it's gonna be the slave cylinder this time.............After a quick call to my other half to say my car was dead and we would have to go in his disaster again......he was still at work!!!!! we were both really looking forward to coming but hopefully next month all will be good...........we had to settle for a kebab instead of a lovely bbb bbq'd burger!!!!!

Would like to say a bug thank you to all who came on sat nite. Was good to se those familiar faces and those that were new. A big thankyou to RAv335 for his 300 mile round trip, was good to see you and your car, has given me the m30 bug (again!) If you are up for coming down again then may be able to get you a bed for the night next time! Definitely deserve a prize for the longest journey of the night!
Thanks also to Darren and his mates for their patience! Will say no more!
I am thinking (this is the half of bbb that thinks) maybe something different next month, although it will be the second sat of the month due to other half going out for his birthday, so if you have any ideas then feel free to share them (i have a couple of ideas), don't want it to go stale like some other meets go when it is the same format month after month, watch this space.
Thanks again for coming guys, maybe that supercharged thing will be running for next time!

Cheer Mate, was happy to attend.
Bed sounds like a good idea.
Next one I can, will attend will have to be in Aug, other halfs away then.
Richard still neds time to brush up on his "Chef" skills so plenty of time there for him to practice.

Trip wasn't bad up to you, and I know now to stick to the a14 and ignore the stupid cow in the box.

So hold off the big idea till I get up there next time.

I will deffo be at the next one thanks to Dave the man that can pmsl he''s rescued me from being carless once again.......I maybe in my current e30 or maybe in a nice new one (wink wink!! If all goes well and I can sort some cash out quickly). Well new to me anyway still a e30 lol x x

Also it'll be nice to see your car Jimmy, Dave has told me alot about it x x

The next meet will be in june sometime possibly the 2nd sat as the 1st sat is my birthday and i will most likely be getting hammered in town with my mates, we will keep you updated.

Jimmy if you want to give us a call we can organise a date when the pbmw and the bbb bbq can meet on the same night.

We will be coming to snetterton knew it was in june sometime but not when. Have to have a word with the brother and find out whats happenin about the bbq in june then.

Spoke with Richard last night, we have an interesting plan coming together. Maybe an off site BBQ ;)
