Fallen victim? I've always thought the X5 was council as fook, aimed at those who've got some cash through drug dealing or human trafficking.

Simply horrendous, although the 4.8 engine is a cracker (same as in my 550i).
Apparently, the engine was originally an Alpina engine - but, that's no excuse for Alpina badges.

550i's are pretty rare by all accounts arn't they. Any good? I think I know the answer here. :)

There is someone on the bmw5forum from a magazine looking for one for a buying guide IIRC.
