I enjoy driving the Civic, but I must admit I have badly missed rear wheel drive and the sound of a nice 6 pot!

The black marks laid around my area show how much fun I've been having.

:D  :D :D

See you all at Gaydon!

This engine is sweet!

Done just under 90k with a rebuild a few thousand ago apparently.

Runs and pulls well. (Far better than the last one  )

I've ordered all new manifold bolts and nuts, as there is a slight blow. There are no snapped studs though (phew).

Also, a small oil leak from the breather under the inlet manifold. Needs to 60p 'o' rings.

Loving it.

The engine is providing the car with some sideways fun!

Must add that I really am loving the Z3 Short Shift!

Jhonno, get it sorted! Bet you can't wait now.

Mine still needs tax/mot/insurance.

Two drifter tourings!

Johnono, I say, find a sweet 2.5 (or we can find you one) drive over to England for a long weekend and yours will be 2.5 also, courtesy of the zone engine change crew!

Sounds great, well done.

Must be fun sliding about all over the place :) . Sometimes I think about it, even get a little bit of wheelspin around some of the roundabouts, but then I think about my poor LSD and back off. The LSD grips very well, I have grippy tyres, and my 2.3L has no power so it requires a LOT of throttle and a tight roundabout (maybe even some gravel on the inside) and a bit of speed to get the wheels spinning and I can just imagine the strain that puts on the LSD. It's better in the wet but I think for the dry I need a 2.5L and a more easily obtainable LSD, I think I would have a hard time replacing mine.

It must be hard for you to get hold of an LSD in OZ.

I guess we are lucky in that respect!
