Damn, loss of earnings, shock, whiplash, etc etc. Thats going to be a big claim. The taxi driver could do with Beemerlads number

Sorry to see it in that state, I guess that the m30 might have to wait due to insurance now. I'm still confused as to what car you hit and how the wheels ended up like that!

Oh dear that is sh1te isn't it :(
I felt like crying when I kirbed one of my rears driving too enthusiastically- one of yours looks fuct!! You must be gutted. All of us on here take huge pride in our E30's even if they're sheds/turds/council/etc otherwise we wouldn't be here- they're not just a to b transport. Think how much fun it will be fixing it up again in time for Summer 8)
Are you sure you weren't posting on an i-phone or something whilst driving? winkeye

I nearly , I take so much car when driving but fooked it now :(

The damage doesn't look too bad, need to get it on a ramp so i can check the front wheel, it's definitely bent something as the steering is not right.

No I wasn't

Is it a case of a whole new front panel? I was thinking of pulling the bent part out.

This will be a messy claim, I would consider involving your insureres, unless you have a very rare breed of taxi driver who will just settle up with you directly.

Otherwise I can see a liability dispute and a taxi driver that ends up in a credit hire vehicle which will be over £100 a day for charges due to it being a private hire taxi, even more if it was a Hackney.

Regulations with Private Hire taxis are strict and they are not allowed to have any panel damage, so the guy will need to hire or be off the road with lost earnings. This could be an expensive claim mate.

If he had passengers too then there could be multiple whiplash claims coming your way.

If you do a deal with him direct, make sure you get him to sign a piece of paper saying he accepts the money in full and final settlement of all claims arising from this incident. Also put something on it saying that the payment you are making is without admission of liability.
