Yeah got a few of you as well mate! Will email them across.

If only we'd sorted out the misfire at Rockingham & realised it was just a loose jet instead of looking for electrical faults, we'd now be looking at a class win instead of the more likely 2nd place, Ian's over the moon with the car & his recent performances & that's the main thing, go for the championship next year.

Bring on Pembrey, I might be coming out to play again, but in a Civic Type R in the WRDA races! That TVR race was so much fun, can't believe I stayed in front of that V8 until the straight, he was all over me like a rash & then just blasted past me & i nearly went into the back of him at Goddard's (left my braking a touch late!!) :D

Car 42, doesn't show up as new Lap record because although we broke it, it was then broken again, twice I believe by car 44

It's a real shame the Kumho has ended up with grids not much bigger than a track day session

Grids are certainly smaller than they have been in the past, but we are growing rapidly again. We have 4 or 5 new drivers this season and are seeing at least two or three additional enquiries at every meeting, so I am hopeful of big grids again in 2006. A lot depends on the circuit though and we usually achieve good grids at the likes of Silverstone, Brands etc but suffer at the likes of Mallory. That goes for all series though really.

We've lost a few drivers to Britcar & there are also 2 less regular drivers for various reasons & soon we will have both cars out & as paul said there are at least 4 new drivers so things are not as bad as it seems, need more E30's though guys, so get building

It is a shame that grids are down but most of that is the legacy of crap PR over the last few years but that is being addressed as we speak & the Kumho's will start enjoying a much higher profile for the remainder of the season & next year for sure so it should be on the up again.

Did you race in the Kumho's? Are you still racing?

Yeah, absolutely over the moon, both the car & driver have just got better & better & we're now beating M3's & M6's that have bags more power & there is still room for improvement & still a few class Lap records to break

The championship & class win is beyond us now due to having 3 DNF's in the 1st 3 races due to stupid annoying little faults that we misdiagnosed but we should end up in the top 5 or 6 for the championship & 2nd in class which is great overall.

If anyone fancies racing next season give us a shout, soon to be advertising for 2006.

Racing next season?? - What's involved / required? I've just read this so the complete info would be great. I'm making a track car out of a e30 325i. A cage is to be fitted but what else would I need to race it?

Cheers (on the stella again,hic!)

Ian (originally from Isle of Anglesey now Isle of Man - love the islands!)

Congrats on the result.

Why don't you turn your hand next year and have a go at rallying?

I've done a few races before at snetterton, silverstone and castle combe and didn't get as much of a kick out of it as I do rallying, just a thought...

The weather on sat was really really terrible, so bad they postponed the racing for 2 1/2 hours and then only ran the 3 races that were only there for the day. They then ran our 1st race instead of 2nd qualifying on the sun am and the finishing order of that race was the starting order for the 2nd. We actually broke the lap record 9 times over the course of the 2 races and 1 qualifying session! If only we hadn't had those 3 DNF's at the start the class win would have been ours, next year maybe
