I've just received some genuine BMW eccentric trailing arm bushes for my 2.5 touring. I was recommended these because the car has 30mm drop.

I've opened the box (for 1 side) and the 2 bushes seem identical. They've got markings on either end (numbers 1 to 8) circling the hole that the bolt goes through.

Can anyone explain how these are installed or does anyone know a good garage in west London that will know. I need to get the beam bushes done so i might just get them to do the whole lot.

cheers

There will be a little lump cast into the lollypop and an arrow moulded into the rubber, line these up and fit it but make sure it goes in square.

As a check, the hole should be closest to the handle of the lollypop

Buster did a write-up on fitting these
