as long as you dont rub to hard and go through the paint itll be fine. youd need to rub very hard to go throught the paint though.

I would try Autoglym super resin polish first, you might find that does the trick and wont be as harsh as T Cut.

Super resin polish is slightly abrasive so is more suited to restoring faded colours

When I got a bonnet painted on a red car a few years back I was advised to use stuff called G3 on the rest of the car, its very good, alot dryer than t-cut, but with a wax the paint never faded again, could try that.

Yeah, The stuff is made by Farecla (french maybe?) and you get different grades, since I tried the stuff years ago I now only use it and G10 (finer) then the same brand wax which smells like raspberry yogurt !!
Alot of guys I know use Maguirs or whatever brand Hellfrauds is flogging but I can always get a better finish and I think the price is slightly better value.

You can get G3 compund in any good motor factors. Did wonders to my white iS. Make sure you give the car a good polish and wax afterwards as the compound will leave the paint exposed to the elements. Just on a side note would you happen to attend college in UL?
