Last year was a superb day but sadly we have been let down by Ace.

They had told us it was booked but it turned out to have been booked by the car club. Very disappointing.

I know they have a hectic schedule, but is there no way we can 'apply' for another one or a cancellation?

So are the Zone not going now? I thought we were doing some charity stuff in memory of Darylls wife?

Dave the mod was setting something up?

I thought the 9th May was a BMW day @ Ace Cafe not just the car club. I'm also member of the car club and thats how its being advertised as far as the club is concerned. All BMW's welcome - more the merrier :P

Well theres no rush to finish my car in time for the ace day then!

We need to do something else as a fund raising thing for Daryll. if we say we're gonna do something then we should stick by it. Any ideas? The portsmouth boys pulled off a blinder for the monsport meet. We must be able to do something similar. All we need are are a zone raffle, a few buckets and a few people to carry them. Some zone charity signs on the buckets, but we need LOTS of cars. Get that set up somewhere and the money will come.

Si, I here shewards sport has been put in a prime position at the ace..........NOT!!!

To be honest, I'll probably support the zone at Gaydon this year.

Seems weve been f*cked over by the car club, now theres a surprise

I probably wont bother with Gaydon, it seems unless you are a car club member you cant show,
so f*ck them and their raffle

IMO its unfair you have to cough up to show your car on the 'BMW' day, maybe they should change it to 'the car club' day

I'm beginning to feel the same way I'm afraid. Although there is a zone display at gaydon this year.

Maybe find someone more central that could host it then, The only reason I suggested BBB is that I know the location is plenty big enough to hold a lot of cars, and it's away from the public roads so there should be little or no issues with police/locals.

BBB are on the essex/suffolk border near colchester. It's a fair drive for you guys tbh but no worse than any of the shows/larger meets for me.

JAE (Jap shite show) was held on mersea island last year which is just down the road from me, People came from all over the uk to that!

I have spoken to Daryll, We are both annoyed but it's one of those things. We will make up for it elsewhere.

To be fair BBB isn't that bad to get to.. Ok it's off central, but its not too high or too low.. If people can make Ace they can make BBB.

Not fussed though, but I agree we should still have something!

12 cars on the OK of the car club? Hardly a representation of the zone community is it. Any zoner that displays in this 'allowance' is basically making the zone look like a joke
