Ordered a new set of wheels yesterday and they arrived today.
They are 7 x 16. Got them from here -
www.bmautosport.co.uk and I have to say that their service is superb. Wheels were very well packaged and arrived safely without a scratch.
I also wanted one of these tyre pressure/temperature kits so now's as good a time as any.
Tyres are being fitted tomorrow - some sticky Toyo R888's.
Will post some pics when they're on the car.
Taylor.

Will be but I think one might have a slight buckle. Will be checking them as I remove them. Will report my findings tomorrow.

Not genuine BBS - Just LM copies. Couldn't justify the price of the genuine ones at this moment in time.

Nice style of wheel but I hope they are not as bad as the LM's my mate bought 6 months ago from them...started pitting and the little bolts all the way around started to corrode within 4 months
Love the tyre pressure kit let us know how it holds up

Nightmare.....
Gave all the wheels the Meguiars treatment yesterday after getting tyres fitted. So after spending ages polishing and waxing every wheel and dressing the tyres it was time to fit them on the car. Bollocks! The rear tyres are too big

I put 225/50/16 on the rear but they are gonna rub on the wheel arch going over bumps, etc. Went back in to my tyre fitter and he is gonna do a straight swap for 205's but they won't be in stock till Tuesday. So will have to wait till next week to get some pics up.

Must admit I really like these wheels. Should look good.

That sucks. Has he not got any 225/45/16s about? There the size for Alpinas (8J). But then saying that depends on your off set.
Cheers Jamie

He suggested 225/45 but I told him to order the 205's (same as the front) cos I know they definately fit. I tried a wheel with a 205 on the rear of the car and the clearance is fine.
Just a bit p1ssed having to wait but it's my own fault.

Finally got the tyre issue sorted last week but because of the crappy weather I haven't had a chance to get the car out the garage till yesterday. So here's a few pics.........
I also made a wee house for the tyre pressure monitor to live....
Cardboard template
Perspex frame
End result

Very nice mate. I was contemplating some of those when I had my IS but went for the Lensos in the end.
You may find it difficult to source BMW badges to fit the centres as they probably need to be about 50mm in diameter. There are some on eBay but most of them look pretty poor. I made some badges by going to a BMW Motorcycle dealer and getting some self adhesive badges that are designed for a bike. I cut some black self adhesive sheet into 50mm circles. This was also from the motorcycle dealer. I attached the badges using a blob of Sikaflex, although any silicone type sealant should do the job. Then I just attached them to the centre caps and hey presto!
here are some I did on my old wheels:
Hope this helps!

Nice one. They'll really finish the wheels off nicely
